Remote Wilderness Training
Green Side Up Environmental Services (GSU) provides remote wilderness training for natural resource and environmental field staff. We are happy to provide training to individuals as well as large groups of people. Green Side Up Environmental Services provides training in the following areas:
- Map interpretation and compass orienteering
- GPS navigation
- Emergency situations in different environments
- Dealing with inclement weather
- Good field practices and the creation of good safety protocols
At the completion of remote wilderness training, everyone should have a comfortable knowledge of how to read a map and use a compass and GPS, as well as what to do when things go awry. This training is essential to creating a more safe and efficient workforce for your company or agency.
